KNOWING WHEN YOU LIVE IN A RELATIVELY GOOD COMMUNITY

This morning, a group of churches in the area worked together to hand out cakes they made, give out community informational packets, and notify area residents of a get together they had. Of course, they asked if we went to church, but didn't push it when I said no. They said they were just doing this because they love Jesus. This, is the way it should be.

I am a believer in an omniscient being. I don't go to church for my own reasons and prefer when people don't pry into that as it is really no one's business but mine. So is what I believe in, but I choose to share at times. What I believe is that these places should be helping their community as the stories say Jesus did. For them to just stop at the door with information and an offering sounds more like the way it went to me.
