The local school district had their 2nd annual technology fair and community talk afterward. I didn't think to get any pictures there because I assumed it would be in the next day's newspaper here. It was in the 3/12 issue of the local paper, but I didn't find out about it until today and was unable to see what they had to say. I'm going to talk about it here.
There are a few categories in which students were able enter into the fair. These categories were
- 3D Modeling,
- Animated Graphic Design
- Case Modifications
- Digital Photography
- Digital Video Production
- Game Design
- Hardware (Grades 7-12 Only)
- Programming (Grades 7-12 Only)
- Mobile Apps
- Multimedia Applications
- Non-Animated Graphic Design
- Non-Multimedia Applications
- Project Programming
- Robotics
- Web 2.0 Application
You are able to visit this link to find out more. Two of our children entered and completed their projects in the fair. They even placed, which made them feel really good. We saw many great projects there and enjoyed walking around. I'm hoping that more students within the district will participate in the following years as this is such a wonderful way to get children involved in our future.
