Putting Myself Out There

So, today I took the plunge and put some onto 500px. I have tons of pictures tucked away that are really nice and decided to take a shot at selling them. I already sell things old items on Ebay. Basically, any way to make enough to keep our family going and still be at home to take care of my kids.

I just noticed I have bad feedback from a customer on Ebay and I feel the need to explain. I was working 10 - 12 hour days out of the home at the time this person bought the item. The only reason I even noticed the item ever sold is because I got an email about an open case. I asked them if they wanted the item still and they told me they did. When I got the item all packaged up and ready to go I noticed that the money had been returned. At that point I decided not to bother shipping it even though I already paid for shipping. I no longer had the money so wasn't going to give them the item. I'm not exactly going to give away my camera. I guess one negative feedback shouldn't bother me but it did because the situation was a bit out of my control. It's not like I had someone to do it for me while I worked during all the prime hours of the day. I had forgotten even posting it by the time it sold. Okay rant part over.

Anywho, I am out of work again and ready to do something to support my children. Workiing outside of the home is nearly impossible because my son has behavioral problems. It seems he avidly tries to get me to lose whatever employment I get. So, I'm hoping the photography situation will help. I used to be good at it and am going to see if I still got it.
