Why Do People Insist on Chatting During a Game?

I've been playing COD quite a bit lately. I missed this game. There are so many people that just want to talk everyone's ears off. I have a headset and mic for two reasons. One is to blurt out where I was killed for my teammates. And the other is so that my children don't hear the crap people say on the game(there's quite a bit of racist hate speech for a game).

There was this chick complaining about people that don't talk. Honestly, incessant chatter or even chewing in my ear from nasty individuals is quite distracting and annoying. I think she was looking for attention, which is fine. I'm guessing females like her are the reason that many days I get some idiot who decides to tell me he hasn't gotten off in three days, or other sexual information I don't give a crap about.

I wish these guys could get the same treatment they give me in a way that they would feel just as annoyed or disgusted. I'm not there looking to get laid, morons. I'm not there to chat. I'm there to attempt to kick some butt. And although I may not be very good at it, it is calming and therefore an escape from the day.
