Success Classes

In July 2019 I took what's called a Success Initiative Class. This is a local offshoot of Circles USA. Unfortunately the local one doesn't keep up with it's Facebook page, but you can learn some about how to get in contact with them this way.

There are technically 12 classes, one day a week for 12 weeks. They do a morning session at times that is brought down to six or seven classes because it's a slightly longer class. And the evening sessions are a full 12 as far as I know.

A few of the classes were...
Succeeding with Success: This is where you get the basic info of the class just like on the first day of schools. You basically get a syllabus and a glossary of the terms used in the classes.

Thriving and Surviving: You learn the difference between the two and how to get out of survival mode as much as you can. I learned about Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and we talked a little more in depth about that.

Using SMART Goals: I personally hate doing these. I can write down my goals, but the SMART goals asks questions I sometimes have a hard time answering.

The purpose of the classes is to give resources and knowledge to try to get out of poverty and the poverty mindset. I wish I could share the actual resources but was told that I can't because they are proprietary.
